Greater DC Take ACTION-Fest
The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) proudly invites you to attend the Greater DC Take ACTION-Fest at John Carlyle Square Park in Alexandria, Virgina on Sunday, October 29th from 11AM-1PM.
Take ACTION is a movement to educate, advocate, motivate, and celebrate the community of more than 8 million people in the U.S. who live with psoriatic disease. The movement was inspired by longtime NPF volunteers to amplify mission-critical fundraising efforts. It is a celebration of community and a recognition of mission-critical progress toward a cure for psoriatic disease and better lives for all those impacted. The fest will include an inspiring program, food, family friendly entertainment, vendor booths, and more.
October 29th, the day of the Take ACTION-Fest, is also World Psoriasis Day! John Carlyle Square Park is only a 5-minute walk from the King Street-Old Town Metro station and there is plenty of parking nearby, making this event easy to travel to from all over Greater DC.
The National Psoriasis Foundation is the leading nonprofit representing individuals with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The mission of NPF is to drive efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of more than 8 million individuals in the United States affected by this chronic immune-mediated disease. Because of the generosity of fundraisers and donors, NPF has funded over $30 million in research grants and fellowships in recent years. Learn more at psoriasis.org.
