Last year, Alexandrians safely disposed of more than 2,600 pounds of unwanted and potentially dangerous medications. Rather than wait for a Drug Take Back day, many used permanent drop boxes located at Police Headquarters, Inova Alexandria Hospital and The Neighborhood Pharmacy.
