RiverRenew Royal Street Site Work

Mobilization of shaft slurry wall equipment to the Royal Street Site is underway! RiverRenew crews are currently moving equipment from AlexRenew to Royal Street to support the start shaft construction later this month. Ahead of this work, seismographs are being installed along Royal and Fairfax Streets this week. These seismographs are the same instruments used around Pendleton Street to measure potential ground vibrations and support our protection of structures plan. While the RiverRenew tunnel boring machine (TBM) was on the factory floor in Germany, they were able to capture 360-degree photo documentation of the entire machine. This allows us to virtually walk the factory floor and explore all our machine’s components! If you are familiar with Google Street View, this feature works similarly.
