10th Annual Building Safety Month

The City of Alexandria will kick off its 10th Annual Building Safety Month with a pop-up event in Market Square at 301 King Street on Friday, May 6 from 11AM - 2PM.

There will be free training offered and guest speakers including Cindy Davis (ICC President), Justin Wilson (City Mayor), Jim Parajon (City Manager) and Gregg Fields (Code Administration Director).

Building Safety Month is a public awareness campaign celebrated by jurisdictions worldwide during the month of May. Each week, the International Code Council will focus on a different theme to highlight how building codes save lives.
