WABA Cycling Classes
WABA is very excited to be back with a full line up of Adult Education classes (+ two Youth Learn to Ride lessons) this Fall!
Learn to Ride Classes:
The adult class is for you if you’ve never ridden a bike before, or have not been on a bike in a long time. WABA's experienced Instructors break the skills down step by step to get you on a bike and rolling in no time. You’ll learn to start and stop, balance, glide, pedal and steer a bike and progress at your own pace.
The youth class is fun, intuitive, and very successful! It is for children aged 6-12 who have never ridden a bike before or have tried to learn and have not been successful.
Basic Skills Classes:
Sign up for this 2 hour clinic if you have recently taken an Adult Learn to Ride class and would like to continue practicing basic skills. Instructors will facilitate basic bike handling drills such as starting and stopping, turning, weaving and gradual braking.
City Cycling Classes:
Confident City Cycling teaches you the skills you need to ride safely and confidently on streets, bike lanes and trails alike. This class is for those who already know how to ride or who have recently taken a Learn to Ride class or a Basic Skills Clinic.
Community Ride Classes:
Community Rides are a fun, friendly and low stress way to experience bike routes and trails throughout the region. The rides are an inclusive space for riders of all experience levels to get out, have fun and ask questions. Community Rides depart from all over the place and are designed to accommodate different distances and interests.
