After almost two years of planning, outreach and discussion, The Alexandria Transit Vision Plan bus network for 2030 and the short term 2022 “major growth” network were both adopted by the Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) Board of Directors at their December 11, 2019 meeting. The approved routes will include major increases in transit service in the Eisenhower East/Carlyle area.
By 2030, our area will have two frequent all-day routes (King St Trolley and N1) which will both feature service running every 15 minutes all day, seven days per week. To learn more, visit the Transit Vision Plan website.
