Registration Opens for Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 18th

Bike over to the Carlyle Pit Stop for Bike to Work Day (BTWD) set for Friday morning, May 18th 6:30 – 8:30 am at John Carlyle Square Park.  Registration is free and  early registrants will receive the 2018 BTWD t-shirt and be entered in a regional raffle for new bicycles. Carlyle Council hosts this popular community event that is part of a regional event co-organized by Commuter Connections and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) to encourage cycling as a healthy, green commuting option that reduces car emissions, and has a positive impact on the environment.   Registered cyclists at Carlyle’s Pit Stop will receive free snacks and beverages from Panera, Potbelly and Whole Foods, be entered in Carlyle’s nonstop raffle of prizes, musical entertainment, free bike maintenance advice, giveaways and much, much more.
