For over a decade, dapper Doc Scantlin has kept the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s alive for Washington, DC and others internationally.

Doc’s whole ensemble offers a memorable evening of musical entertainment. From the 1920’s speakeasy numbers such as “Puttin’ On The Ritz” and the “Charleston” through the romantic, elegant 1930’s of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and the wonderful swing era of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, etc… He has played hundreds of the biggest and best balls, special events, weddings, private parties, fund raisers and concerts, appearing throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Visit the USPTO’s onsite produce market Wednesday’s, from 11:00am – 2:00pm, in the patio area adjacent to the cafeteria in the Madison building.  The market will be open every Wednesday through October 25th.  The market sells fresh vegetables and fruits, including some grown locally and some organic items.  Selections vary depending on the vendors’ availability and seasonal influences.  Wholesale case prices are available.

After two years of envisioning, WE ARE ONE TRIBUTE X-PERIENCE BAND has finally become a reality!! It has quickly become one of the most respected Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly tribute bands in the nation. WE ARE ONE TRIBUTE X-PERIENCE BAND replicates the look, sound and feelings of the BET Lifetime Achievement Award recipient 70 Soul group. This eight piece band, with each of its unique members, provides amazing chemistry. These veteran musicians pride themselves on giving their audience an incredibly high-energy performance every time they take the stage; and they never disappoint. Led by National Recording Drummer ELWarren Spoon Weatherspoon and featuring lead vocalist, Paul Bumbry, who has the amazing voice range and movement of his life-long idol Frankie Beverly, WE ARE ONE TRIBUTE X-PERIENCE BAND highlights the early years of Maze and the transition to Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly.
